What is it?
The Sacred Cacao Ceremony is an intimate gathering of those called to connect with the spirit of this ancient plant medicine.
During the ceremony we will work with the powerful energy of cacao, the "food of Gods", to awaken our hearts and open ourselves to the infinite wisdom of the Universe. We will use the plant to open our connection to the divine and access our inner guidance, intuition and creativity.
We will begin by setting our intentions for the ceremony and connecting with the energy of the plant. After a few stretches and calming breaths, we will drink the cacao and enter into a guided meditation, journeying deep into our hearts and connecting to the universal consciousness.
Through this process, we will release old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us, and open ourselves to new opportunities for growth and transformation.
Each ceremony is unique in its intention and guidance.
What is Cacao?
Theobroma cacao is the Latin name of the cacao plant. Theobroma is a Greek word that means "food for Gods", while cacao is derived from the Nahuatl word xocolatl, which means "bitter water".
In my ceremonies, I use the highest quality ceremonial-grade cacao. It is specifically sourced form the small farms in Peru for it's purity and minimal processing.
Cacao is rich in nutrients, including fiber, iron, magnesium, zinc and antioxidants. Its has anti-inflammotory, brain-boosting and mood-enhancing properties.
